50 Thirteen combines a core team of full-time employees with a curated, coast-to-coast network of trusted experts, brought in based on the specific needs of each project — because no two are ever quite the same.
Summer of 2026 was a busy one at 50 Thirteen — rallies, town halls, election nights, surprise conventions and much more.
And as we gear up for the end of the election season, we’re also looking for folks to fill the roles that will be working on some pretty incredible and meaningful projects, listed below:
Bus Tour Trip Director [National] October - Early November 2026
The National Bus Tour Trip Director is the point person keeping a fast-moving, month-long tour on track across the country from very early October through Election Day. Traveling full-time with the bus, this person will own the bus’s daily operations, including driver management, staying on schedule, and route updates. They will coordinate with advance staff, venues, and local partners as needed and perform basic event setup at some of the bus stops. They’ll solve problems quickly, adjust when plans change, and keep everyone informed and moving. This is a senior, trusted role for an independent operator - someone who is organized, resourceful and forward-thinking. Compensation range $400-500/day, total bus duration is 35 days
Bus Trip Director One [Statewide] Mid-October - Early November 2026
The Statewide Bus Tour Trip Director is the point person keeping a busy 25-day statewide campaign-style tour running smoothly. Based around a consistent home base in a single state, this person manages the daily schedule, routing, bus logistics, security, driver hours and liaises with advance staff and the partner organization. Compensation range $350-450/day.
Bus Trip Director Two [Statewide] Mid-October - Early November 2026
Identical to the above position, just in a different state and five shorter days in duration. The Statewide Bus Tour Trip Director is the point person keeping a busy 20-day statewide campaign-style tour running smoothly. Based around a consistent home base in a single state, this person manages the daily schedule, routing, bus logistics, security, driver hours and liaises with advance staff and the partner organization. Compensation range $350-450/day
Project Manager
AKA “Advance Lead” — We’re looking for experienced advance/events professionals to lead one-off projects during the final weeks of the fall campaign season. You’ll be responsible for the full execution of an assigned project, including managing the team working under you, coordinating vendors and logistics, and keeping everything moving from planning through show day. Significant travel is expected. Compensation: $450–550/day.
Project Associate
AKA “Advance” — We’re looking for experienced advance/events professionals to help execute projects during the final weeks of the fall campaign season, working under the direction of a Project Manager. This is a hands-on role for people who already know their way around political events and advance work; it is not an entry-level position. Significant travel is expected. Compensation: $300–400/day.
Video/Production Associate
We’re looking for someone who has a background or deep experience with digital video (as a camera operator, editing, etc) but also has complementary experience with other audiovisual disciplines like audio or lighting and can help pitch in on those areas at smaller events when required. Comp range for this position is project dependent and commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
In all of the above jobs, you must have a valid drivers license, proficiency with Google Suite tools, and a strong understanding that all of the above jobs are not standard 9-5 office gigs - you’re going to be out on the road in America!
How to Apply:
Please send us an email at work@5013.live and attach an updated resume. Instead of a long cover letter, just tell us a little bit in your email about your current work situation and availability between now and Election Day, where you’re geographically located this fall, and which of the positions above you’re interested in (it can be more than one!) - along with anything else you’d like us to know.
