Having seen an extreme need for a very obscure airplane flight (from Des Moines, Iowa to Manchester, New Hampshire in the middle of the night in January) the past two competitive cycles in 2008 and 2016, we designed the The Granite Express as a one-day airline designed to bring campaign staff and members of the media from the snows of central Iowa to the snows of New Hampshire, just after the caucus results were in hand (which went a little screwy this time, as you may recall) but we took off on time with our 125 passengers and landed in Manchester quite a bit early, thanks for a favorable tail wind. If the Iowa caucuses are still a thing in 2024, we’ll do it again!
